                       Eligibility Criteria of IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021

Age Limitation for these Posts --
* Minimum Age Limitation to apply for these Posts -- 18 years.
* Maximum Age Limitation to apply for these Posts -- 25 years.
Age Relaxation details --
* OBC category candidates will get the age relaxation of 3 years.
* ST/Sc category candidates will get the age relaxation of 5 years.
* PWD candidates will get the age relaxation of years 10 years.
Educational Qualification for these Posts --
a) Senior Computer Operator -
 Graduate in Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized University and One Year experience in the Electronic Data Processing.
b) Superintendent (Store) -
Essential Qual. - Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable  Qual. - Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private sector.
c) Steno Gde-II -
12th Class pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University.
Skill Test Norms - Dictation 10 Mts @ 80 wpm, Transcription 50 Mts (Eng), 65 Mts (Hindi) on Computer.
d) Lower Division Clerk (LDC) -
 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wmp correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
e) Hindi Typist -
12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wmp correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
f) Store Keeper -
Essential Qual. - 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable Qual. - Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private sector.

g)Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) -
Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.
h) Cook (Ordinary Grade) -
 Matriculation from a recognized board with a certificate or diploma in catering; 1 year experience in trade.
i) Painter (Skilled) -
10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Painter from a recognized institute OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Painter.


j) Carpenter (Skilled) -
10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute.Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter from a recognized institute OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.
k) Ayah/Ward Sahayika -
Essential - Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
Desirable - One year of experience as Ayah in Hospitals or Nursing Homes from an Organization or Institute.
l) Housekeeping Staff (Female Safaiwali) -
Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Board.
m) House Keeping Staff (HKS) -
Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
n) Laundryman -
Essential - Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
Desirable - One year of experience as Dhobi from an Organization or Institute.
o) Mess Staff -
Essential - Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
Desirable - One year of experience as Waiter or Washer up from an Organization or Institute.
p) Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) -
Essential - Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
Desirable - One year of experience as Watchman or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Gardener from an Organization or Institute.
q) Vulcaniser -
Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. OR Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade.
r) Tailor (Skilled) -
(i) 10th pass from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Tailor from a recognized institute OR Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade.
s) Tinsmith (Skilled) -
(i) 10th pass from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate trade from a recognized institute or Ex-serviceman from appropriate trade.
t) Copper Smith and Sheet Metal Worker (CS&SMW) (Skilled) -
(i) 10th pass from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Copper Smith and Sheet Metal Worker from a recognized institute with one year experience in relevant field.
u) Fireman -
Essential -
(a) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognised board.
(b) Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognised institute of repute.
(c) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, Hose Fittings and Fire appliances and equipments like Fire Engine, Trailer Fire Pumps and Foam Branches.
(d) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified in Note-1 below. OR Ex-serviceman of appropriate trade.
Desirable -
(a) Should be familiar with maintenance and operation of various types of Fire appliances.
(b) Experience of having worked in a regular Civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman from any Government.
(c) Have passed the General Fire Fighting Course from any Government recognised institute.
v) Fire Engine Driver -
Essential -
(a) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
(b) Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicle and be in possession of valid driving license issued by the any Government.
(c) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified in Note-1 OR Ex-serviceman of appropriate trade.
Desirable -
(a) Having experience in maintenance and operation of various types of Fire appliances.
(b) Experience of having worked in a regular Civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman from any Government.


(c) Have passed the General Fire Fighting course from any Government recognised institute.
w) FMT (Fitter Mechanical Transport) (Skilled) -
(a) 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute.
(ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Fitter Mechanical Transport from a recognized institute. OR Ex-serviceman in appropriate trade viz, NAC Mechanical (Motor Vehicle).
x) Tradesman Mate (erstwhile labourer on ammunition duties) -
Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Board OR Ex-servicemen of appropriate trade.
y) Leather worker (skilled) -
(a) 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute.
(b) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Leather Goods Maker from a recognized institute.OR (b)Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade with two years experience.
z) Turner (Skilled) -
(a) 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute.
(b) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Turner from a recognized institute. OR (b)Ex-Servicemen from appropriate trade.
aa) Wireless Operator Mechanic HSW Gd-II (WOM HSW) -
Industrial training Institute Certificate in the trade of Wireless Operator Mechanic with two years experience. OR Ex-servicemen from Wireless Operator Mechanic trade with three years service.

                      Selection Process of IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021

(i) All application will be scrutinised in terms of age limits, minimum qualification, documents and certificates. Thereafter, eligible candidates will be issued call letters for written test.
(ii) The eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test. The written test will be based on minimum education qualification.
(iii) The written test will consist of (i) General Intelligence and Reasoning (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) General English (iv) General Awareness.
(iv) The question cum answer paper will be English and Hindi.
(v) The requisite number of candidates will be shortlisted and called for skill/physical/practical test wherever applicable based on merit/category in the written test.
(vi) Shortlisted candidates are to bring original certificates, copies of annexure attached with application.



                      How to apply for IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2021
Eligible candidates can apply to any of the above Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application as per format given under (typed in English/Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned Air Force Station as per choice within 30 days from the last date of the publication of this advertisement in 'Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar’.

(1) All documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Technical Qualification, Physically Handicapped, Experience Certificate & Caste Certificate (issued by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) etc to be accompanied with the application should be self attested.
(2) In case of appointment of OBC candidates against their reserved quota their caste should be listed under Central List of OBCs as candidate belonging to castes listed under Central list only are eligible for appointment to Central Services. The latest rules with regard to creamy layer in OBCs are to be followed. Candidates seeking reservation as OBC is required to submit alongwith application a certificate to the effect that he does not belong to any of the creamy layer.
(3) In case of ex-serviceman self attested photocopy of discharge book is to be submitted alongwith the application.
(4) Application form duly typed in English /Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) duly self attested. Any other supporting document (self attested), Self addressed envelope with stamp (s) Rs. 10/- pasted. Address should be typed in English / Hindi. Separate application for each post should be forwarded. Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF -------- AND CATEGORY--------".
(5) Two passport size photograph (same as fixed on the application form).
