Educational Qualification Details
4 years full time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (4-year Course) /
Engineering degree in relevant discipline from recognized University/
Institution/ College with 55% and above for General / EWS / OBC candidates
& Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
Post qualification Experience -
Trainee Engineer I - Fresh Engineering

Selection Procedures
BEL selection process for 428 Trainee Engineer and
Project Engineer posts involves following stages.
a) Candidates who meet the eligible criteria will be
called for Written Test for 85 marks and those who clear the same will be
shortlisted for Interview for 15 marks. The place of written test and interview
will be in Bengaluru only.
b) Candidates will be shortlisted for the interviews
based on the written test marks (out of 85 marks) in order of merit in the
ratio of 1:5.
c) Intimation on conducting written test and interview will be sent to
E-mail ID provided by the candidate. Candidates are required to comply with the
instructions indicated therein. The results of the final selection will be
available on BEL website. BEL is not responsible for bounce back or non-receipt
of mail by the candidate..
Note –Failure in any one stage or even in identity check, may
lead cancellation of candidature at any stage.
